Santiago Serrano Yánez

Santiago, hailing from Ecuador, is a cinematographer with a deep passion for visual storytelling that fosters understanding among people. Santiago's journey commenced by documenting social issues related to poverty and violence in different countries across Latin America.

As an immigrant, his curiosity about human mobility led him to explore themes of culture, community, national identity, and belonging. He is currently based in L.A. and holds an MFA from the American Film Institute. He has participated as a cinematographer in various short films and documentaries and is open to working anywhere in the world.
